Sand Banding

Sand Banding cuts long strips in the turf, filling them with sand. This process works similarly to aeration or sand injection, but in a more aggressive manner. The process reduces soil compaction and improves air circulation while removing the built up thatch layer from the soil. This process works great for sports fields, parks and other high traffic areas or soil with a high percentage of clay.

Sand banding is great for:

- Improving clay dense soil
- Compaction relief on hard surfaces
- Improving water drainage
- Complimenting existing water drainage systems
- Creating a gaseous exchange to improve turf health similar to aeration
